Blockchain Gamers Escalated as Users try to ‘Stack Crypto’-DappRadar

  • Blockchain games are the toppers of September 2022 among all crypto and Blockchain-based products.  

Blockchain technology has gained massive popularity globally in almost every sector in the last few years. Most of the blockchain coverage is in fintech and gaming.  

According to some reliable based on blockchain activity, the rate of user activities on Blockchain gaming and DApps(Decentralized Applications) has attained impressive growth in September 2022. 

Data from DappRadar highlights seven blockchain games in the category or top ten listed games in terms of the number of “unique wallets addresses interacting with dapp’s smart contracts.” the traffic instantly hiked in the last 30 days, and user’s activities in the top five games were high in this time frame.

While writing this article, the top five Web3 gaming platforms are as follows:- Solitaire Blitz, Benji Bananas, Alien World, Gameta, and Splinter lands.   

A Blog post of Dappradar published on 27th September quoted that among the top ten blockchain games, eight are mobile-first which can eventually “bring millions of users to the blockchain.”  

“Dapp games like Benji Bananas, Upland, Trickshot Blitz, and Gameta allow anyone to access these games on the mobile and earn crypto with little knowledge.”

The blog added, “Using daily activities like hyper-casual mobile games as a hook ensures users find fun once they interact, while solid tokenomics can encourage everyday use and retention.”

DappRadar vocalized that one of the major reasons Blockchain games gain popularity is that they “bleed in the bear and run in the bull.”

Among the top ten blockchain games, Farmers World, Upland, Trickshot Blitz, Axies infinity, and Solitaire Blitz(Decreased in the last seven days) have decreased by some percent in the last thirty days.       

Earlier on 28 September, Bloomberg reported the unprecedented hike in the blockchain gaming sector and mentioned in its blog that the NFTs sector is down compared to January and highlighted that the “frenzy is almost dead.”  

On 29 September, Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brand, posted on his official Twitter handle and informed us about the crash of frenzy NFTs. 

Recently Sega announced its first blockchain game with the collaboration of a Japanese blockchain company.
