Solana’s Co-Founder Has Some Pretty Things To Say About Blockchain Reliability

Yakovenko’s Grand Statement

Anatoly Yakovenko, Co-Founder and CEO of Solana Labs, which creates the Solana, or SOL blockchain, discussed the challenge of providing both high performance and great dependability in a recent interview. Multiple sources reported that Yakovenko said the following in an interview with Raoul Pal, co-founder, and CEO of the finance and business television channel Real Vision, which was taped on August 22 and released on September 2:

According to his statement, this is their largest issue, and perhaps it’s one he enjoys having since all these difficulties arise from the fact that they have consumers. And the chain is that there are around 30 million transactions every day when you look at regular transactions from apps from users just from individuals utilizing the network. Their day had 65 million visitors. That surpasses the total sales of all the other chains. Ethereum is, in his opinion, one-thirtieth. And as a result of this load, they have observed things that they hadn’t anticipated, and they were somewhat unprepared for the kind of assaults that users would launch against the network.

10 Million Packets Being Sent to a Validator

He believes some individuals have witnessed 10 million packets being sent to a validator each second. And if there is a flaw in any of those validators that causes memory to increase very, very fast, or if there is anything they performed poorly for that load, that validator might crash, shut down, or run out of memory for any number of reasons. The network effectively stalls if one-third of them take such action until manual intervention restarts it. That has occurred a few times.

The presenter of the hugely famous YouTube channel InvestAnswers, James Mullarney, recently contrasted Ethereum (ETH) to Solana (SOL), perhaps its most potent opponent. Mullarney evaluated Ethereum and Solana with regard to speed, fees, technology, ecosystem, and lastly daily active users (DAUs) and breadth of DApps in a YouTube video posted on August 28.
