A major worldwide alternative investing business is launching a blockchain fund with a global mandate.
Investcorp is establishing eLydian Lion, a global institutional blockchain fund run by the firm’s Abu Dhabi branch, according to a new press release.
According to the statement, the fund would be deployed globally with a mandate to invest in companies that use blockchain technology to drive the next stage of the digital revolution.
Funds to invest in early-stage startups
According to the press release, the fund is looking to invest in early-stage startups working in blockchain infrastructure, platforms and exchanges, decentralized finance, and data analytics. From the ground up, investors in the fund will receive exposure to fresh prospects in the blockchain ecosystem.
