Jelurida to help Lugano’s ‘Plan B’

With Switzerland’s Lugano region one of the most crypto-friendly jurisdictions in the world, Jelurida’s move could prove very instrumental in enhancing growth within the ecosystem.

Tomislav Gountchev, Software Architect & Director Lead at Jelurida had this to say about the collaboration:

Jelurida is happy to join the TBTA and contribute to the success of Lugano Plan B. We are excited about being able to establish Ticino as the blockchain innovation hub in Switzerland in collaboration with the local universities, research centers, and other enterprises.

In early March, the city unveiled plans to adopt Bitcoin (BTC) Tether (USDT), and the LVGA token (tied to the Swiss franc) as legal tender. The adoption is part of Lugano Plan B and allows residents to use cryptocurrencies in all transactions, including payment of taxes.
