Wanted architects for the metaverse

In recent weeks, job advertisements for architects have been popping up on the web. The curious thing is that these are job offers for the metaverse

That is, there are companies looking to hire architects to work in the metaverse.

Architects for lands in the metaverse

The metaverse consists of land on which virtual buildings can be constructed, so it is more than fair to imagine that real architects are being used to design these buildings.

Indeed, new companies have been set up to deal specifically with virtual architecture in the metaverse. On the other hand, many traditional architectural firms are already accustomed to creating real virtual spaces to present to their clients to show them the final result in 3D.

The software already in use to render computer-generated 3D versions of physical building designs are essentially the same as those that can be used to create virtual buildings.

In other words, instead of physically and materially realizing architectural designs, they are already designed to be exclusively digital constructions to be installed on land in the metaverse.

In search of creativity

It is also worth bearing in mind that all sorts of buildings can be designed in the metaverse, even things that are simply impossible or never seen in the physical world. Architects in the metaverse have more freedom, and a greater degree of creativity is required in their work, since in the metaverse appearing is as important as being.

Currently, the metaverse is dominated by game designers or people interested in 3D design who are not necessarily real architects. The latter can add creativity, ergonomics, user-friendliness and user-friendly design.

Architects in the metaverse can be designers of environments that bridge the real world, making those environments welcoming enough to make the user feel comfortable. This is a typical skill of architects.

There are now entire online communities of architects interested in 3D modelling, metaverse, cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

Furthermore, it is necessary to mention that the average price of land in the four main metaverses (The Sandbox, Decentraland, Cryptovoxels and Somnium Space) practically doubled from June to December 2021, reaching an average of $12,000. This is why there is growing demand from brands for professionals who can build structures within these worlds.

According to several experts, this could be a rapidly growing market in the future.
