Two Giant Cryptocurrency Whales Withdraw $70 Million Worth of Altcoins from Binance and OKX

Two mysterious cryptocurrency whales made large transactions on major crypto exchanges today.

A mysterious entity identified by the multisig wallet address 0x8b5 withdrew a staggering 25,000 ETH (equivalent to $66.83 million) from Binance. The transaction was executed at an Ethereum price of $2,673.

Interestingly, the multisig wallet in question had received 0.01 ETH from another address named 0x66E. This address is allegedly linked to Metalpha, a global digital asset management company based in Hong Kong.

Currently, the multisig wallet has staked the entire 25,000 ETH via Mantle Network, a popular staking platform.

In another significant move, a new wallet identified as 0x253 withdrew 1,740 ETH ($4.69 million) from OKX, another major cryptocurrency exchange. In total, the wallet withdrew 3,370 ETH ($9.06 million) from CEX via three transactions in the last hour.

ETH price is trading at $2,676 at the time of writing this article and has increased by almost 20% in the last week. In the same period, the increase in BTC was 2% based on current prices.
