Shiba Inu Community Gears for Major Upgrades to L2 Platform Shibarium

The Shiba Inu ecosystem has witnessed some crucial developments in recent times. LUCIE, a prominent community member, has drawn considerable attention to the latest community plans: the introduction of SHEboshi, an ERRC-404 token designed to enhance Shiboshi.

Reiterating LUCIE’s announcement shared on X, another community member has emphasized a pivotal upgrade for Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s L2 solution. The members of the Shiba Inu ecosystem have been eagerly awaiting the much sought-after launch of Shiboshi’s new utility on Shibarium. Reportedly, this launch could be bringing some transformative changes to the Shibarium platform.

Additionally, as per LUCIE’s update, both whales holding tokens within the Shiba Inu ecosystem and Shiboshi holders will reap significant benefits from these advancements. Concurrently, Shiba Inu’s price exhibited positive movement on Friday, reflecting the community’s progress. However, it once again continues to face some selling pressure. As of press time, the Shiba Inu (SHIB) price is trading 2% down at a price of $0.000009701 with a market cap of $5.71 billion.

LUCIE’s recent post emphasizes, “Shiboshi has yet to commence.” Additionally, the community intends to incorporate a Play-to-Earn (P2E) game into Shibarium, stimulating transactions and SHIB burns. This development further revives hope in accelerating Shiba Inu’s cryptographic journey while positioning Shibarium as a frontrunner in Layer 2 solutions.

Shiba Inu Shiboshi Holders to Claim SHEboshis

Meanwhile, LUCIE has also highlighted the accumulation of whales and Shiboshi holders during this period. Interestingly, in the latest edition of the Shib magazine, the community emphasized that Shiboshi holders have the opportunity to claim SHEboshis for free. However, eligibility for this is dependent on the quantity of Shiboshi held and the duration of ownership.

“THE SHEboshis” is a groundbreaking experiment based on the 404 Eth Standard on Ethereum. This initiative introduces an NFT hybrid, serving as a female counterpart to the existing Shiboshis, with the aim of attracting liquidity on Ethereum and subsequently transferring it to Shibarium.

Furthermore, considering the overall progress of the community, holders of Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens BONE, LEASH, and SHIB are also likely to reap significant benefits. While this is just the initial phase, according to LUCIE, the community has announced plans to unveil significant updates shortly after the commencement of the SHEboshi claiming process over the weekend.

According to reports by Coingape media earlier this month, Shiba Inu’s partnership with K9 focuses on streamlining BONE staking on Shibarium. Now, with the community gearing up to launch KNINE on March 7, 2024, Shibarium is poised for an array of new features to be integrated into the L2.
