Ripple XRP Resumes Trading on the CryptoAltum MT5 Platform

As the ongoing legal battle between Ripple Labs and the United States security and exchange commission continues to move forwards towards trial, XRP holders have been awaiting the relisting of the digital asset, which has been halted on many platforms.

The lawsuit filed against Ripple Labs by the SEC, for the alleged selling of unlicensed securities in the form of Ripple’s native token, XRP, caused unstable pricing during the first few months of the legal battle, despite Ripple receiving considerable support from the crypto community.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse is confident the lengthy court battle will end favourably for Ripple, noting at a CNBC-hosted fireside chat at the Paris Blockchain Week Summit in April that “the lawsuit has gone exceedingly well, and much better than I could have hoped when it began about 15 months ago,” adding that “the wheels of justice move slowly.”

Along with the company, XRP holders and crypto advocates see increasingly optimistic signs that the case will end well, with the company scoring a number of victories over the last month, as Ripple Labs consistently maintains that XRP is utilised as an intermediary intended for remittance and not a security.

The case, that commenced at the end of 2020, resulted in XRP trading halting in December 2020 on the CryptoAltum platform, now, however, due to increased liquidity from CryptoAltum liquidity providers, all Ripple (XRP) pairs are now available for trading on their MT5 platform.

CryptoAltum has a number of XRP Pairs that are currently offered, including the following:
