Pi Network Price Prediction: PI Tests Final Support As Protocol 23 Upgrade Approaches

  • PI trades at $0.1645, down 1.50%, one daily close from losing the lower Bollinger Band at $0.1621 with SAR at $0.1841 overhead.
  • The 1H descending channel from March 21 has all four EMAs above price with VWAP at $0.1649 as the first level to reclaim.
  • Protocol 21 completed on Mainnet with Protocol 23 next, adding smart contracts, RWA tokenization, AI App Studio, and .pi domains.

PI trades at $0.1645 on April 14, down 1.50%, with the lower Bollinger Band at $0.1621 as the only floor left on the daily while the 1H channel from March 21 keeps every short-term rally capped below the EMAs.

PI Daily Chart: Lower Bollinger Band At $0.1621 Is The Only Floor Left

PI Daily Price Action (Source: TradingView)

The decline from the March spike high near $0.3050 has pushed PI into the lower quarter of the Bollinger Band range. Upper band at $0.1720, middle band at $0.1819, lower band at $0.1621. The SAR at $0.1841 sits above the middle band, making the $0.1819 to $0.1841 zone a double resistance layer on any recovery attempt.

The descending trendline from the July 2025 peak slopes down near $0.2400 through April, keeping the longer-term structure bearish. A daily close below $0.1621 removes the last technical floor and opens the February low at $0.1380 directly, with nothing in between. A close above the middle band at $0.1819 is the first real sign the correction from March is done.

Key levels for April 15:

  • Lower Bollinger Band: $0.1621
  • Upper Bollinger Band: $0.1720
  • Middle Bollinger Band / SAR: $0.1819 to $0.1841
  • February low: $0.1380
  • March high: $0.3050

PI 1H Chart: Descending Channel Tightens With Four EMAs Above Price

PI 1H Price Action (Source: TradingView)

The 1H chart maps a clean descending channel from the March 21 high near $0.2050, with the upper boundary sloping down toward $0.1700 and the lower boundary near $0.1630. Price at $0.1645 sits near the lower boundary, with all four EMAs stacked above: 20-hour at $0.1663, 50-hour at $0.1674, 100-hour at $0.1691, and 200-hour at $0.1730.

VWAP at $0.1649 sits just above current price as the immediate resistance. A 1H close above VWAP and then the 20-hour EMA at $0.1663 is the first short-term recovery signal, putting the channel upper boundary near $0.1700 in view. A break below the channel floor at $0.1630 accelerates the move toward the daily lower Bollinger Band at $0.1621.

Protocol 21 Done, Protocol 23 Next: What It Actually Adds To Pi

Protocol 21 went live on Mainnet successfully, with the core team already flagging the v22 upgrade as next in sequence. Protocol 23 is the one that matters most for long-term holders, adding smart contracts, real-world asset tokenization, AI App Studio out of beta, and .pi domain rollout.

Smart contracts let lending, staking, and in-app rewards run through code automatically, cutting out intermediaries entirely. RWA tokenization breaks physical assets like property into digital tokens, so a user can own a fraction of real estate for $200 instead of $200,000. The .pi domain system gives apps and users unique on-chain identities, while Pi Browser’s Web2 to Web3 integration removes friction for non-technical users.

Additionally, Stellar joining the ERC-3643 Association, the global compliance body for tokenized assets, puts PI on a direct path toward traditional finance recognition given that Pi runs on Stellar Core.

PI Price Prediction: April 15 Outlook

  • Upside: Lower Bollinger Band at $0.1621 holds, 1H close above VWAP at $0.1649 and the 20-hour EMA at $0.1663 signals short-term recovery. Protocol 23 announcements around smart contracts and RWA tokenization give buyers a fundamental reason to re-enter. Middle band at $0.1819 is the first daily target.
  • Downside: Lower Bollinger Band at $0.1621 breaks on a daily close, 1H channel floor at $0.1630 gives way simultaneously, and the February low at $0.1380 becomes the next stop with no support between the two levels.
