MetaMask, the leading wallet app in the crypto industry, has been delisted from the Apple App Store and could potentially be removed altogether. The wallet app, which boasts 30 million monthly active users, has faced similar issues in the past. In 2019, it was also briefly removed from the Google Play Store before being reinstated. The reason for MetaMask’s delisting from the Apple App Store has not been made clear, although it could be related to Apple’s strict policy on cryptocurrency-related applications. Users of the wallet app who prefer using iPhones may have to look for alternatives until the situation is resolved.
