Justin Sun has revealed that law enforcement agencies from China, the US, and Russia have intervened in the investigation of a recent hack on his Tron Foundation. The hacker, who has been identified as “DreamMarket,” has demanded a $6.7 million ransom in exchange for the return of stolen cryptocurrencies worth over $31 million. Sun confirmed that the hacker’s identity has been confirmed and offered a $10 million white-hat bonus if the assets are returned before November 25. This is not the first time that Poloniex, a cryptocurrency exchange owned by Tron, has been hacked. In 2014, over $110 million was stolen, and it is suspected that North Korean hackers were responsible, making recovery difficult.
