Crypto Asset Guy, a popular influencer in the digital currency ecosystem, has revealed 20 reasons he’s all sold out on XRP.

One of the reasons, he said, is that XRP doubles as the only “digital asset in the US with legal clarity” and which has been “officially declared not a security.”

For most digital currencies, the need to determine their status as to whether they are security remains a vital hurdle in the United States.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has not been very clear in defining how to classify these assets. Thus far this year, it has filed lawsuits against Coinbase and Binance, declaring some of the tokens they support as unregistered investment contracts.

Some of these labeled cryptocurrencies include Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and Polygon (MATIC), among others. Except for Bitcoin (BTC), the status of Ethereum is also unclear, leaving XRP as the coin without any uncertainty hanging around it.

According to the Crypto Asset Guy, XRP is a relatively faster and cheaper coin compared to BTC and ETH. 

In highlighting the unfair advantages XRP has, the influencer noted that the coin has literally no gas fee and no delays. This contrasts with the strain on Ethereum, renowned for excessive charges on transactions and its longer settlement time.

He also cited the XRPL’s unrivaled security, the user-friendly XUMM platform, and XRP’s effectiveness in cross-border payments. 

The influencer further noted strong partnerships with major banks, a unique use case, anticipated adoption growth for XRP, Ripple’s exceptional team, and notable legal victories against the SEC.

XRP Benefitting from Broader Market Sentiment

While most of the bullish attributes shared by the Crypto Asset Guy are focused on XRP, some are hinged on general market sentiment.

For instance, the influencer mentioned the potential of landing a Bitcoin spot ETF within the next five months as one of his bases for staying positive on XRP.

His belief in the potential inflow of capital into XRP and the switch from Ethereum whales into XRP also solidified his resolve that XRP is primed for success in the mid to long term.

Meanwhile, XRP is worth as much as $0.4982, with a trading volume that has soared by more than 45% amid the current market rout.
