Hashkey Capital’s Singapore subsidiary has obtained a licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, allowing it to provide fund-management services in the country. The Capital Markets Services (CMS) license follows an in-principle license granted in November 2022. CEO Deng Chao stated that the license would enable the company to contribute to Singapore’s blockchain community. This brings the number of crypto firms with CMS licenses in Singapore to three, including DigiFT and SBI Digital Markets. HashKey Capital aims to create a convergence between traditional and digital financial ecosystems.
