The partnership with Velas as a global player in Blockchain and NFTs

Back at the end of last year, Scuderia Ferrari announced that it had started a partnership with Velas Network AG, based in Switzerland, renowned for being a global player in Blockchain and NFTs.

The partnership includes a multi-year agreement in which Velas is committed to creating exclusive digital content for fans of the Italian luxury car brand.

Velas Network AG has developed a blockchain fork of Solana, incorporating the EVM or Ethereum Virtual Machine. It is a zero-issue Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) blockchain. Basically, network users vote and elect delegates to validate the next block.

Lamborghini and the Space Time Memory NFT project.

While Ferrari works to launch the brand in the metaverse as well, Lamborghini announced just a week ago its NFT project: Space Time Memory

It’s a series of five NFT photographs of a Lamborghini Ultimae taking off to the stars and celebrating human exploration in space.

The project was created with Swiss artist Fabian Oefner and his team who created the compositions from real elements, capturing more than 1,500 individual parts of a real car.

With an initial bid of $100, auctions of the 5 NFTs have closed with staggering figures. The Lamborghini NFT website, in fact, shows figures of $203,636, $126,000, $110,000, $70,000 and $150,000.
