The latest claims come as the Twitter boss neither confirmed nor denied an inquiry about whether he was working with developers on a DOGE solution or payment on Twitter. Instead, Musk opted to respond with the eyes emoji, often used in text to draw attention to something of interest.

Yesterday Musk shared a picture of a dog dressed in a Twitter-branded shirt, showing his love for the meme crypto.
Musk has also hinted at this in the past, championing ideas from fellow billionaire Mark Cuban to use Dogecoin to fix Twitter’s bot concerns. The world’s richest man has a long romantic history with the doggy meme coin and has made it an option for payment in one form or the other at his other companies.
Consequently, his Twitter acquisition continues to fuel speculation that he would do the same at the microblogging platform. The billionaire has also stoked this speculation, sharing a picture of a dog dressed in a Twitter-branded shirt yesterday.
Riding on this wave of excitement, the doggy meme coin yesterday reclaimed price levels last seen in April. Dogecoin is trading at the $0.1384 price point, up 110% in the last seven days.
It is worth noting that from all indications, there is likely to be a greater crypto integration with Twitter as Binance invested $500 million in Musk’s Twitter acquisition. Notably, the platform allows users to receive tips in Bitcoin and Ethereum. In addition, Binance chief Changpeng Zhao speaking with CNBC, disclosed that the crypto exchange hopes to help the social media platform with payments, touting crypto as the preferred option.
