Montenegro’s High Court has extended the detention of Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon by two months, at the request of both the US and South Korea. Kwon, wanted in connection with the collapse of the stablecoin TerraUSD in 2022, had been due to be released from custody on Friday. The court ruled last month that Kwon could be extradited, but his defense has appealed the decision. Montenegro’s justice minister will ultimately decide which country Kwon will be sent to.
