Uphold Joins Other Exchanges to Support FLR Airdrop
Following the announcement, Uphold has joined a list of cryptocurrency exchanges that have declared support for the airdrop event. Last month, Flare Network released a list of cryptocurrency exchanges that have indicated support for the upcoming January 9, 2023, FLR airdrop.
According to Flare Network, 25 cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, Crypto.com, Huobi, Bitstamp, Upbit, etc., have confirmed their support for the token distribution.
However, crypto exchanges like Coinbase, Bittrex, BitFlyer, and Binance.US were added to the list of crypto trading platforms yet to confirm support for FLR token airdrop.
It bears mentioning that after Flare’s CEO Hugo Philion called out Coinbase team for not responding to inquiries about the upcoming airdrop, the San Francisco-based exchange reiterated its commitment to supporting the upcoming event.
FLR Token Airdrop
Notably, the FLR token airdrop event will hold on January 9, 2023. The tokens will be distributed to crypto users who held XRP at the time of the snapshot, December 12, 2020, at 00:00 (UTC).
The tokens will be airdropped to eligible users in the ratio of 1 XRP : 1 FLR. Beneficiaries will receive 15% of the total FLR tokens they are eligible to receive. This will amount to a total of 4,278,738,205 (4.27B) FLR, Flare Network noted in a recent blog post.
The remaining tokens, totaling 24,246,183,166 (24.24B) FLR will be distributed monthly in uniform increments over 36 months, Flare added.
