One such artist is a transgender teen Victor Langlois, who has managed to earn roughly $50 Million just through selling Non-Fungible Token (NFT) versions of his artwork.
The teen caught the eyes of the community for the very first time in June 2021 after selling five sets of physical NFT artworks worth a total of $2.16 Million via Christie’s auction house. The collection had the title: Hello, I am Victor (FEWOCiOUS) and This is my life. And it is focused on his childhood and his gender transition.
Following this, the teenage (19-year-old) artist has sold more and more artwork on various NFT marketplaces. He eventually managed to be popular as now almost every NFT enthusiast knows him. On the Nifty Giveaway, he has even sold NFTs for around $20 Million, which according to Fortune was the third-largest sale on the marketplace.
According to Victor also popularly known as FEWOCiOUS talked to Fortune, while talking about the challenges the artist witnessed as a transgender kid, he highlighted that it has been hard for him to process, to be honest.
NFTs Giving Voice To People As They Are Beyond Gender
