OpenSea: This Top Notch NFT Marketplace Now Accepts ApeCoin

The leading NFT marketplace OpenSea has recently started to accept ApeCoin (APE). This news came after the token became the largest Metaverse token by market cap. 

Earlier in March, Yuga Labs announced the launch of the native governance token for the Bored Ape project called ApeCoin. The coin focuses on its utilization for Yuga Labs’ expansion of the BAYC into the Web3 and Gaming space. ApeCoin was unboxed by ApeCoin DAO, which is a decentralized autonomous organization officially affiliated with the BAYC franchise.

Acceptance By The Top NFT Marketplace  

ApeCoin has performed profoundly recently as the Otherside is about to get launched. 

At the time of writing, ApeCoin is trading at $16.52 with a market cap of $4,706,456,163.

Otherside is basically a metaverse game world, developed in collaboration with Animoca Brands, the popular NFT game publisher. It features a number of other significant NFT projects like CryptoPunks, Meebits, Apes, and Cool Cats. 

Yuga Labs, the creators of one of the most popular NFT projects, is also planning on rolling out Otherdeed NFTs, which apparently are similar to those of Decentraland and The Sandbox, which indicate the ownership of virtual lands. 

Getting accepted by the largest NFT marketplace is a significant move for the coin as OpenSea is the center of attraction in the $17 Billion NFT market. 

It’s safe to say that the name of OpenSea pops up first on the minds of folks when it comes to an NFT marketplace. It’s an online NFT marketplace that facilitates enthusiasts to create, sell and trade NFTs. According to data by Dune Analytics, it has over 1.6 million active users.

And this announcement by the prominent NFT marketplace to accept this newly emerged coin is a great sign of its significant progress.
