OneOf, An NFT Platform, Signs A Deal With Warner Music!

  • OneOf’s emergence as a rising audio NFT platform during May of the previous year, after the platform, gathered $63 million in a fundraising attempt.
  •  OneOf hosted an unpublished Whitney Houston recording from when she was only 17 years old, that sold for over $1 million.
  • Tezos has remained a blockchain of preference for a significant number of blue-chip firms.

OneOf originally reported on its emergence as a rising audio NFT platform during May of the previous year, after the platform gathered $63 million in a fundraising attempt that stated that most of the funds gathered will go directly to the wallets of artists. The platform was definitely making progress in attracting major talent to its platform, including John Legend and Whitney Houston.

This week, OneOf announced a new relationship with Warner Music Group, which will help them elevate their position even more (WMG). Let’s have a glance at the announcement from today as well as the current situation of music and audio NFTs.

OneOf Appears To Be A One-Of-A-Kind Product.

Last month, OneOf hosted an unpublished Whitney Houston recording from when she was only 17 years old, that sold for over $1 million, making it the most expensive NFT ever sold over the Tezos network. Quincy Jones, the famed record producer, is behind the platform, which was first unveiled in May of the previous year. To date, OneOf has formed relationships with both Grammy Awards and iHeartRadio.

Furthermore, the platform has established itself as the green Web3 pioneer among a sea of audio and music-based platforms in the NFT and blockchain area. Audius, Royal, and a handful more big names have dominated the market so far. Last year, Audius created waves by teaming with TikTok, a strong social network, and this year, Royal also made waves by producing royalty-earning NFTs for hip-hop legend Nas.

WMG EVP Oana Ruxandra said in a Variety report that the OneOf alliance gives our artists the edge in more genuinely developing one-to-one connections with their followers and winning in this new Web3 economy.

Tezos Continues To Gain Popularity

Tezos is gaining traction within the altcoin industry as a viable alternative to NFTs for big businesses and platforms seeking a white label answer. Gap, Ubisoft, and now OneOf in collaboration with Warner Music – have all used Tezos in some manner to promote their individual NFT releases.

Tezos has remained a blockchain of preference for a significant number of blue-chip firms, while not being classified as a blue-chip altcoin. Gap, for example, recently introduced a white-label, easy-to-use NFT drop which experienced near-instant sell-outs for its limited-edition collection. Tezos also hosted Ubisoft’s Quartz NFT project, which has been the subject of a back-and-forth plot drama.
