The Digital Diaspora

It is always heart-whelming to see when the world appreciates the talent and hard work our artists bring to the world.

It is a well-known saying that: ‘In art, the hand executes what the soul imagines.

Last week was full of enthusiasm, artistic inspiration, community networking, and developer innovation from within the NFT space.

The collaboration between the famous photographer Driftshoots along with the young Diana Sinclair arranged a massively successful event.
This was also sponsored by MetaMask and Samsung.

Hosted on  Samsung 837 hub in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, New York, it attracted a lot of crowds as this NFT event was conducted on Father’s Day, 19th June.

This Digital Diaspora refers to the celebration of global migration and living in a world where everyone lives together irrespective of race, caste, creed, or sex.

Juneteenth

The date- 19th June, is a very special day because, on exact this day, the last African Americans were emancipated from slavery in Texas. The year was 1865.

This day is celebrated all over America as a cultural reminder about the races and the beauty this diversity beholds.

This day is also used to celebrate the accomplishments of the people of color.

This event, ‘The Digital Diaspora’, did an excellent job in spreading awareness about the issues regarding racism and inequality.

According to their website:

“The Digital Diaspora is an art show that celebrates Black culture and the people who design it, elevating voices that often go unheard and giving a platform to those less seen. By displaying and celebrating the artists chosen and through the charity selected, we push forward to design and build a future that truly welcomes Black art in its truest form.”

Driftshoots, the event organizer went on the stage and expressed his warm gratitude to almost 1000 people for showing up and contributing to this well-needed cause.

This is the reason the NFT world is getting so much appreciation in the world. With the help of this technology, we can forget about inequality, discrimination, racism, and all of those evil practices which are present in the old conservative world.
The world of NFTs and blockchain is doing a superb job in pushing humanity forward, eventually making this world a better place.
