Yahoo Taiwan NFT store set to launch at the end of March after Blocto partnership

Blocto, a non-fungible token (NFT) and cryptocurrency wallet, has announced a partnership with Yahoo Taiwan. The partnership will support the launch of the Yahoo Taiwan NFT store that will be unveiled towards the end of March.

Blocto is a subsidiary of Portto. Blocto provides a good user experience by allowing access to decentralized applications (DApps), NFTs and crypto. Some of the strategic investors in this company include 500 Global, Animoca Brands and Mark Cuban.

The NFT market has grown significantly over the past year, with the trading volumes surpassing $10.67 billion during the third quarter of 2021. Yahoo Taiwan NFT store wants to manage this high traffic using Blocto’s blockchain capability.

The NFT developers on the Yahoo Taiwan NFT store are approved by Yahoo Taiwan to create a trustworthy trading platform. It also allows users to buy NFTs using fiat money, and those that purchase NFTs on the platform gain access to a points program.

First NFT collection

Yahoo Taiwan NFT Store plans to launch its first NFT collection with the A-Hoo mascot, whose image will appear on stickers, products and delivery crates used by yahoo Taiwan. The collection will be traded on BloctoBay, an NFT marketplace on Blocto.

Yahoo Taiwan is planning to create partnerships with local brands and non-profit organizations to facilitate the release of NFT collections. It will use the high traffic on its website to help business partners access non-crypto users. “By collaborating with Crypto wallet Blocto and leveraging Taiwan NFT Store’ yahoo Taiwan is making NFTs accessible to all and creating a channel where local creators can expand their venture into NFTs,” said Chen-Te Lin, the VP of E-Commerce and Regional Products at Yahoo Taiwan.
