Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley Open Raw

Brock Lesnar walked out in full gear, and even challenged Bobby Lashley, only for the segment to end in the announcement that Lesnar has been added to the Elimination Chamber match. this was beyond cruel to this crowd, but I’d imagine nothing could ruin their good mood with the Bengals going to the Super Bowl.

For a second, I thought Bobby Lashley was going to get Kofi’d out of his WWE Championship just 24 hours after winning it. Thankfully, this was not the case.

Brock Lesnar really loves the word “chicken [expletive],” which he used repeatedly.

Rhea Ripley def. Nikki A.S.H.

Similar to Naomi vs. Sonya Deville, WWE simply gave away a weeks-long build as a TV match, not like either feud was lighting the world on fire.

Nikki A.S.H. losing clean to Ripley so soon after turning heel does not bode well for her future.

The Miz def. Dominik Mysterio—Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

This was yet another match that Dominik Mysterio lost because of his father. At what point do they finally feud? With WrestleMania a few short months away, maybe we’ll finally get a payoff.

I couldn’t imagine The Miz winning the WWE Championship with both Lesnar and Lashley in the same match.

Austin Theory def. Kevin Owens

During the K.O. Show, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins already began teasing dissension with Rollins automatically qualifying and refusing to vouch for Kevin Owens to do the same.

This was yet another Heel vs. Heel match, which are becoming all the rage in WWE.

This felt like the biggest win of Austin Theory’s career.

Angelo Dawkins def. Dolph Ziggler

These two were saddled in the popcorn spot, where they worked desperately to avoid “Who Dey” chants.

Similar to Austin Theory, this might have been the biggest singles win of Angelo Dawkins’ career.

Chad Gable def. Riddle—Scooter Competition; Riddle def. Otis to Qualify for WWE Elimination Chamber

R-Truth hilariously predicted the Bengals would win this race.

Otis dressed in a speedskating suit was legitimately hilarious. I was disappointed when he didn’t wrestle in it.

Chad Gable had the line of the night when he said “do my cauliflower ears deceive me?”

As soon as Adam Pearce announced this as an Elimination Chamber qualifier, poor Otis didn’t stand a chance. Riddle is nearly a lock to appear in the Chamber, and might be a darkhorse to win it.

Riddle sold like crazy for Otis in this match and it was very entertaining to watch.

Bianca Belair def. Carmella

Corey Graves responded to claims on Twitter that he was “simping” for Carmella.

While trapped in a hold, Carmella asked the referee “am I still pretty?”

There was no heat for Carmella’s offense, but this crowd came alive for Bianca Belair’s comeback.

AJ Styles def. Rey Mysterio—Elimination Chamber Qualifier

Ever the babyface, Rey Mysterio wore an orange and-black-striped outfit in Cincinnati.

Though the crowd didn’t give this match what it deserved, Styles and Mysterio seemed rejuvenated to be facing one another.

Ronda Rousey Returns

Ronda Rousey continued to refer to Becky Lynch as “Rebecca.”

WWE appeared to pipe in reactions throughout this segment, but this was a dead (possibly hungover from celebrating) crowd throughout.

Becky Lynch, even as a heel, in the ring with Ronda Rousey felt like a bigger deal than Ronda-Charlotte.

This main event segment built to Ronda Rousey saying she’ll make her decision on Friday. She was promptly booed for it. WWE tried a make-good by having Lita confront Lynch. The crowd really woke up for Lita.

Lita vs. Becky Lynch was made official for Elimination Chamber and the crowd went home happy.
