‘There Are Several Things In Preparation’

Following the release of Kang Daniel’s first full-length album this past May, the singer-actor-CEO is making sure all of his follow-up projects are just as major.

After making major inroads overseas like booking U.S. television appearances on The Kelly Clarkson Show and festival dates in Japan, Daniel says he will continue pushing additional visuals and projects related to The Story, including taking the music on the road.

Kang Daniel will hold his “First Parade in Seoul” concert dates next month in his native South Korea on August 13 and 14, taking place in person at Seoul’s Jangchung Arena and available via online streaming. But the star shares that he has hopes to tour more overseas, including visiting fans in the massive touring market in the States.

“I hope to have a world tour in the future after my solo concert in Korea,” Kang Daniel shares in an exclusive statement. “These days, I’m preparing a performance for Summer Sonic 2022 [in Japan], and also, there are several things in preparation that I cannot reveal yet. Please look forward to it and keep watching my promotions continuously. I hope to do more activities in the future in the U.S. and global markets, and I sincerely anticipate meeting DANITYs in the U.S. as soon as possible! If I get to have more chances, I really want to visit more frequently.”

Ahead of these concerts, fans can look forward to at least one more music video from The Story (which has already sold more than 315,000 copies worldwide) after the recent release of the “Parade” video. Daniel adds, “for this album, I tried to involve themes of a story that people can relate to rather than continuing my story. ‘Parade’ is more focused on office workers with sorrow, and I think everyone’s lives are valuable and priceless, but sometimes they live forgetting about it. I wanted to let people forget their hard moments and just enjoy it even if it’s just for today.”

Pre-order and general reservations for tickets to “First Parade in Seoul” will open in the coming days.
