The Web3 Engine Expansion of Fireblocks to Aim DeFi and dApp

On August 30, 2022 the digital asset custody platform, Fireblocks announced its support on Solana in its Website. As per the platform update, from August 30, 2022 the customer of Fireblocks securely access lending, borrowing, staking, and Web3 dApp that are powered by the Solana blockchain.

Fireblocks: The First Enterprise-Grade Gateway

Fireblocks become the first enterprise-grade gateway that will allow a secure connectivity to non-EVM chains. It also brings unprecedented access to the growing world of Web3 for its global users.

At present, Solana is the fifth largest DeFi chain that is based on TVL (Total Value Locked) at approximately $2 billion. And its NFT ecosystem exceeds Ethereum, from the starting of this year.

On the announcement, Anatoly Yakovenko, Co-founder of Solana, stated that “Fireblocks is used by thousands of businesses to access novel DeFi products and services. Starting today, these businesses will immediately have access to the depth and breadth of the DeFi ecosystem on Solana.”

Fireblocks V2 Integration

The users of Fireblocks got the enterprise-grade access to the Solana Web3 ecosystem. It is followed by the WalletConnect V2 integration, upgraded to securely enable vault connections to non-EVM chain dApps.

The DeFi suite part of Fireblocks Web3 engine allows customers to set custom limits through contract, amount, user, and more using robust DeFi policy controls. The decentralised platforms, Marinade, Mango Markets, and Friktion are used for interaction.
