Here are the top ten movies and TV shows on NetflixNFLX
NFLX
in the United States for July 10, 2022. Each day, I will update this list and observe the trends that change from day to day, week to week.

Top 10 Movies on Netflix

  1. The Girl in the Picture
  2. The Sea Beast
  3. Sing 2
  4. The Man from Toronto
  5. Mean Girls
  6. Wanted
  7. The Dark Knight Rises
  8. Leave No Trace
  9. Big Daddy
  10. Final Score

Today, The Girl in the Picture keeps up its impressive streak in the top spot. While it is normal for true crime documentaries to perform well on Netflix, it is surprising to beat out Netflix’s latest animated project The Sea Beast for the second day in a row. There likely won’t be another movie that challenges The Girl in the Picture until Friday when both Persuasion (a period piece starring Dakota Johnson) and Uncharted (a 2022 adventure film starring Tom Holland) hit the streaming service.

Although both of animated flicks dominating Netflix at the moment, The Sea Beast and Sing 2, have shot. The Sea Beast rose up one spot after its eye-catchingly low debut in third place, overtaking Sing 2. That marks the first time that Sing 2 hasn’t held either the #1 or #2 position since its June 22 premiere on Netflix.

Meanwhile, The Man from Toronto slid from the fifth-place spot—its lowest position yet—back up to fourth place, which was held by Mean Girls yesterday. That’s 16 straight days for the action/comedy starring Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson, while Mean Girls nabbed its sixth consecutive showing.

Elsewhere, there we no other newcomers. This marks 12 appearances for The Dark Knight Rises, seven for Final Score, five for Leave No Trace, four for Wanted, and three for Big Daddy.

Top 10 Shows on Netflix

  1. Stranger Things
  2. Alone
  3. The Umbrella Academy
  4. The Flash
  5. Boo, Bitch
  6. The Longest Night
  7. The UnXplained with William Shatner
  8. All American
  9. The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch
  10. The Lincoln Lawyer

Stranger Things continued its complete and utter dominance of the Top 10, propelling a run that’s only rivaled by Squid Game. The fourth season of the sci-fi series has now spent 49 consecutive days on the Top 10, and 41 of those occupied the first-place position. Its current #1 streak sits at 10 days.

The only show that disrupted Stranger Things’s first-place reign was the third season of The Umbrella Academy, which fell to its lowest position since its June 22 debut. That marks 18 straight appearances for the action series, eight of which were spent in first place. The show is hoping to top its 2020 performance when it landed on the Top 10 list for 43 consecutive days.

The Umbrella Academy was overtaken by the competition show Alone, which reached its highest position yet after six days on the charts. Alone is having a much better showing than it did in 2021, when it spent 11 days on the Top 10 and only reached as high as fifth place.

The only newcomer to the Top 10 is The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch at the #9 position. The Lincoln Lawyer wasn’t part of the list yesterday, but has been on and off the Top 10 since its debut.

The other big news is that All American marked its 40th straight day on the Top 10. Meanwhile, The UnXplained landed its 15th consecutive appearance and Legacies fell off the charts after 15 straight showings.
