The Most Romantic Luxury Hotels In NYC

An overnight stay (or more) at a five-star hotel in New York City is a wonderful way to either jumpstart or rekindle a romance.

Each of these elegant properties offer guests the chance to relax, indulge, and feel pampered—as well as opportunities to take advantage of the city’s museums, entertainment, shopping and other attractions. (Of course, they would have to opt to leave their cocoons.)

Here are some of the most romantic luxury hotels in New York City. Plan ahead for a sybaritic experience!

Located in the heart of midtown, the Baccarat Hotel New York City is across the street from the Museum of Modern Art and just steps from Fifth Avenue. Each of the 114 guest rooms and suites is tastefully appointed with romantic decor and other lavish flourishes, including a memorable “champagne button” on the phone. Travel + Leisure named the hotel one of the best in the city.

The hotel is offering two special Valentine’s Day packages:

The More Amour package, available throughout the month of February, includes: luxurious accommodations, daily breakfast for two, a bottle of Champagne selected by the sommelier, a welcome “sweet” amenity, a Baccarat Crystal Keepsake in a signature red gift box, and complimentary late check out.

The Romance & Style Valentine’s Day escape includes a professionally styled couple’s photoshoot set in sparkling surroundings (yes, the hotel is associated with the iconic crystal brand); a relaxing, 60-minute couples treatment in the Spa de La Mer; a romantic four-course dinner served in the Grand Salon; crystal keepsakes (both Baccarat Mille Nuits Flutes and a Baccarat Keepsake Box filled with rose petals) to take home, and breakfast in bed the following morning. Available February 1 – 15th; reservations should be made at least 72 hours in advance.
