When is Kanye going to NFT?

Not yet, and don’t bother asking. Do not request her to do a stupid NFT, the rapper and fashion designer said in a handwritten message on a sheet of paper, which he shared via Instagram on Monday evening.

Stop asking him to do NFTs, for now, he is not on that wave, and he makes music and products in the real world, he says on all-caps, as if the statement in the picture wasn’t apparent enough.

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a non-transferable data unit held on a blockchain, which is a type of digital ledger. Virtual media such as photographs, videos, and audio may be connected with several types of NFT data units. NFTs differ from blockchain cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin in that each token is uniquely recognized. Although NFT ledgers purport to give a public certificate of authenticity or proof of ownership, the legal rights that an NFT conveys can be ambiguous. NFTs do not block the creation of NFTs with identical related files, nor do they restrict the sharing or copying of the underlying digital data. They also do not necessarily convey the copyright of the digital files.

The music business has fully embraced NFTs, the blockchain-based tokens that serve as evidence of ownership of a virtual or physical asset, with musicians such as Kings of Leon and Grimes presenting their latest albums as NFTs.

Rappers On NFT

A wave of rappers, particularly in hip-hop, have gone on the NFT bandwagon. Eminem, KSI, Future, DJ Khaled, Rich the Kid, and Post Malone have all purchased high-priced Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs, whereas Timbaland has gone one step further by founding a production firm specifically for Bored Ape NFT owners.

Nas is the first artist to release two new singles as NFTs on Royal, DJ Justin 3LAU Blau’s latest music NFT platform. For the time being, Kanye says he doesn’t want any of it.
