Showtime’s ‘Ziwe’ Announces Season 2 Guests

Ziwe is returning to Showtime. The second half of the comedy show’s second season, helmed by Ziwe Fumudoh, returns to streaming and on-demand on Friday, November 18, before an on-air premiere Sunday, November 20 at 11 pm.

Deadline has reported the guest list for the show’s return includes heavy hitters such as Drew Barrymore and Julia Fox. In addition, Michael Che, Amber Riley, Blake Griffin, Joel Kim Booster, Bob The Drag Queen, DeRay Mckesson and Wayne Brady are also set to guest on the show.

The first half of the second season premiered in May and included guests such as Charlamagne Tha God, Chet Hanks, Nicole Byer, Hannibal Buress, Ilana Glazer, Emily Ratajkowski, Mia Khalifa, The Real Housewives’ Luann De Lesseps, Drag Star Katya Zamalodchikova, and Adam Pally.

The show has been known for its impressive guest list. The first season made waves with interviews with Stacey Abrams, Andrew Yang, Fran Lebowitz and Gloria Steinem. The late-night talk show features interviews, sketches, music videos and games. Guests are often pushed to say something inflammatory by interview questions or games while on the show.

The season will follow the same schedule as the premiere, with new streaming episodes every Friday before the on-air cast Sunday nights.

The new season will also feature special guest appearances by Marie Faustin, Benito Skinner, Chloe Cherry, Aparna Nancherla, River L. Ramirez, AnnaSophia Robb, John Reynolds, Larry Owens, Amy Sedaris, Laura Benanti, Scott Adsit, Jackie Hoffman and Josh Sharpe. The series is produced by A24, executive produced by Ziwe, Jo Firestone and Hunter Speese.
