Elvis Is Back!

The Sandbox, a popular crypto and metaverse game has made an official announcement regarding a partnership with Elvis On-Chain, to bring the King of Rock and Roll to the digital realm.

This collaboration involves Web3 studios Run It Wild, and Elvis Presley Enterprises, which spawned the project earlier this year. Additionally to The Sandbox, collaborators here include Voxel Architects, Metakey, Addraft and Decentraland.

To celebrate the birthday of King Elvis Presley, 1,935 Elvis Genesis Key NFTs will be minted which will serve as an all access pass to Elvis On-Chain metaverse, launching on 1st June.

The Sandbox will generate avatars in collaboration with Voxel Architects, which will be utilized in the new Elvis world, a meeting place for the fans of The King all over the globe.

Users can become “Elvis” in several formats in this fresh realm where they can interact with the rest and trade the virtual memorabilia.

The Sandbox co-founder and COO, Sebastian Borget said that the vision is to empower Elvis fans to express themselves and become their very own Elvis, creating an exhilarating way to experience his popularity across generations and keep The King forever in the limelights, owing to the technology.

Decentralad will host an Elvis Block Party after the Elvis Genesis NFT mint. This is going to become an attempt to make Guinness World Record for majority of Elvis impersonators in a single place in Metaverse.

The participants will be able to put Elvis wearables, involving his jumpsuit and styled wig. Meanwhile, elusive Elvis Genesis Key NFT holders will be offered officially licensed Decentraland wearables, as per a report.

The metaverse has rapidly become a vital space for celebrities to promote themselves. As of now, SnoopVerse in The Sandbox is the most prominent name, as it is a digital replica of Snoop Dogg’s world.
