So here’s the best deal I’ve seen on the Xbox Series X, and since you get it via Microsoft’s 0% financing program, Xbox All Access, not only will you save money but you’ll spread payments out over two years.

Xbox All Access basically gets you the console and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (which includes Xbox Live with Gold so you can play online games) and access to hundreds of titles immediately, many of which you can just stream online instead of downloading. It’s a great service.

You’ll be paying for both, of course, but you get to spread those payments out over 24 months, making it a lower barrier to entry for anyone looking to upgrade to this latest generation of gaming.

The deal in question is at Verizon, one of several retailers to offer Xbox All Access. It’s also, at the time of this writing, the only one to offer a big Black Friday deal, slashing $150 off the total price.

This means that instead of paying $34.99/month you’ll pay $28.74/month. (Yes, this also means you’re spreading the savings out over 24 months, but it’s still $150 however you slice it).

This is a good deal! If you’re holding out for a PS5 because of that system’s exclusives, I totally get it. But if you don’t care about Spider-Man or God Of War then getting an Xbox Series X is a great alternative (especially if you like online games since features like Xbox Game Chat are really great).
