More Bray Wyatt Clues On September 26, 2022

WWE Raw, from Edmonton Alberta Canada, advertised Matt Riddle vs. Damian Priest; Sami Zayn vs. AJ Styles; Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio; Johnny Gargano and Kevin Owens vs. Alpha Academy and Bianca Belair vs. Iyo Sky. WWE Raw also saw the return of Candice LeRae, who gave birth earlier this year, and defeated Nikki A.S.H. The WWE Raw main event saw the return of Edge.

The latest White Rabbit tease, presumably for Bray Wyatt, featured a video vignette clipping together various WWE Superstars saying the term “Who killed the world? You did. Feed your head.” The title of the site read “930YWG,” a nod to this Friday’s SmackDown on September 30 from Winnipeg, Canada. YWG is also the acronym for the Winnipeg airport. Each tease figures to be an advertising for the upcoming Raw or SmackDown until the “White Rabbit’s” debut on September 30.

Toward the end of the clip read the numbers “40701.” A simple search leads you to the Baymont Hotel. By Wyndham, which is also Bray Wyatt’s (Windham Rotunda). 40701 is also the zip code to Corbin, Kentucky. The clip also includes the coordinates “44.244273,7.769737,” which lead to the giant pink bunny in Prata Nevoso, Italy. Yet another clue was revealed on the “White Rabbit Records” YouTube channel. The channel displayed the zip code 04062, the zip code to Windham, Maine.

Last week’s WWE Raw fell to 1.594 million viewers against two NFL games, its lowest viewership since July 4.

WWE Raw Winners And Match Card

Bianca Belair def. Iyo Sky

Bayley cut the same basic, boring “I’ve wanted to do this all my life” promo that Athena cut on Jade Cargill, but Bianca was ready. Bianca clapped back by saying “I’m not going to downplay my accomplishments to meet you at a level that makes you comfortable.”

This whole segment, I didn’t take my eyes off Alexa Bliss and Lilly because I didn’t want to miss any potential Bray Wyatt Easter Eggs.

WWE has already given away multiple Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair matches, and I feel like this matchup could have been protected as a future storyline with an incredible blowoff match on pay-per-view.

Seth Rollins def. Rey Mysterio

Fans booed when Seth Rollins said that people think the “Fight Pit” is Matt Riddle’s kind of match. All this chanting along to this music is going to mess around and turn Seth Rollins babyface.

All signs point to Bray Wyatt returning and attacking Matt Riddle at Extreme Rules. As happy as I am to see Bray, Matt Riddle should be very nervous about possibly working with The Fiend given all the babyfaces The Fiend killed dead, most notably Seth Rollins.

The massive heat for Dominik Mysterio continued as fans booed him out of the building, and really seemed to be into Dominik finally hitting Rey with a steel chair.

Seth Rollins won the match with what Jimmy Smith described as a Peruvian Neck Tie.

Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano def. Alpha Academy

Alpha Academy walked out with the American flag, as was rumored, and Kevin Owens was a superstar in his home country of Canada.

The biggest pop of this match came when Kevin Owens slapped on a Sharpshooter, but the pop would have been even bigger had Gable tapped out. In fact, the biggest heat in this match came when Otis broke up the Sharpshooter.

Omos def. Local Competitors

MVP said “Braun Strowman may be the Monster Among Monsters…” before putting over Omos. I don’t think it’s a good sign for Omos that WWE seems to be planting the seeds for a feud against Braun Strowman.

Backstage, Dexter Lumis got an enormous pop when it was revealed that he took the place of the Edmonton Oilers statue. Still, fans were more interested in chanting “Let’s go Oilers” than “Let’s go Dexter.”

Candice LeRae def. Nikki A.S.H.

Candice LeRae is the second Gargano in a month to debut in Canada, and while the pop wasn’t the level of Johnny Gargano, this crowd still treated her like a babyface star. The women’s division in WWE is everything it isn’t in AEW.

Nikki A.S.H. did her part and helped LeRae look her best in a solid debut.

Sami Zayn def. AJ Styles

I can’t help but think that all these wrestlers taking shots at Sami Zayn for being an Honorary Uce are jealous.

To the surprise of nobody, Sami Zayn was a huge rockstar to Edmonton as well. If him and Kevin Owens don’t have some sort of Roman Reigns-related interaction in their home country, it would have been a waste.

WWE also used this Sami Zayn vs. AJ Styles storyline to tell the story of Styles potentially joining the Judgment Day for backup.

In a pleasant surprise, Sami Zayn beat Styles with help from Solo Sikoa.

These sick fans chanted “You won’t do it!” when Finn Balor teased pillmanizing AJ Styles’ neck with a chair.

Matt Riddle def. Damian Priest; Edge Returns

This WWE Raw main event capped off a theme of very long matches throughout the show—and, really, throughout the Triple H Era. It’ll be interesting to see how a show like this does against a star-deprived NFL Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.

WWE has done such a good job rehabilitating The Judgment Day, that I bought Damian Priest could win this match. He didn’t, Riddle rolled him up.

The Judgment Day—which beat down Riddle and brawled with Canada’s Edge—has main evented a number of these Triple H-era Raw’s. It’s almost like he’s (quietly) trying to tell us they’re top stars.
