Mainland China, Hong Kong Stock Exchanges Closed For Mid-Autumn Festival

Stock exchanges in mainland China and Hong Kong were closed today, Sept. 12, in connection with the Mid-Autumn Festival.

It’s business as usual in the U.S., where mainland Internet leaders such as Alibaba, Pinduoduo and JD.com are listed.

In other Greater China trading overnight, Taiwan’s benchmark weighted price index rose by 1.5% to 14,807.43, led by technology companies.

Mainland and Hong Kong exchanges will reopen tomorrow.
