Injured Fox News Correspondent Benjamin Hall Is In Texas Hospital, Has Undergone ‘Multiple Surgeries’

Fox News correspondent Benjamin Hall, who was injured in an attack in Ukraine last week that left two reporters dead, has been moved to a hospital in Texas after undergoing multiple surgeries, CEO Suzanne Scott told staffers Friday.

Hall was moved from the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany to Brooke Army Medical Center in Houston, Scott said.

The day after he was attacked Scott said Hall had “safely” exited Ukraine, and it wasn’t clear then where he was moved to.

Scott said Hall is still recovering from his “serious injuries” and “multiple surgeries” and is in “good spirits despite everything he has endured.”

Dr. Richard Jadick, who worked with the group Save Our Allies to get Hall out of Ukraine, said Wednesday that Hall “had some critical injuries that required a lot of attention,” and Jadick’s team “worked hard at putting together the right scenario to get [Hall]
out safely” and not worsen his condition.

Hall, who was covering Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, was attacked outside of Kyiv on March 14 when his team’s fan was hit with incoming fire. Cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and local reporter Oleksandra “Sasha” Kuvshynova were killed during the attack. Several other reporters have been injured or killed while reporting from the line of fire. Filmmaker and journalist Brent Renaud was killed last week while working on a project on the refugee crisis for Time Studios, and his reporting partner Juan Arredondo was shot but survived. Russian journalist Oksana Baulina was killed under fire Wednesday, according to her employer, The Insider. Baulina was “filming the destruction after Russian troops shelled the Podil district of the capital.”
