How, When And Where To Watch FC Barcelona Legend Ronaldinho’s Return To Football In The King’s League

FC Barcelona legend Ronaldinho will make his return to playing football on Sunday when debuting in the King’s League. Here’s how, when and where you can see him in action.

Ronaldinho will run out for the Porcinos FC team headed by president and popular streamer Ibai Llanos, who is one of the driving forces behind the King’s League alongside its main organizer Gerard Pique through his Kosmos company.

On Matchday 8, the action starts at 16.00 CET from the Cupra Arena in Barcelona with five games taking place before Porcinos FC meet PIO FC at 21.00 local time.

The games can be watched here free of charge on Twitch. Given that Porcinos FC have already won five matches and lost just one as the joint leaders of the Kings’ League with Saiyans FC, they could notch a routine won over PIO FC (who have won two and lost five) given they now boast Ronaldinho.

News of Ronaldinho’s return to football has excited fans worldwide that have missed him since retiring in January 2018 as a 37-year-old.

Joining the Kings League is his latest step in returning to Barcelona as a city, where he lived from 2003 after joining Barca from Paris Saint Germain until his 2008 exit to AC Milan.

Ronaldinho took advantage of a Mundo Deportivo gala this month to tease that he would be in the Catalan much more often moving forward.

The event was also used to confirm that his son Joao Mendes had signed for the Blaugrana’s youth categories. Since then, the youngster previously on Cruzeiro’s books in Minas Gerais has made his debut for La Masia’s Juvenil side against Manchester United on the same day that the first team drew 2-2 with the Red Devils in the Europa League.

Porcinos FC are well on track to make the final four of the King’s League, who will then for the title at Camp Nou on February 26.

This could attract a capacity crowd to Europe’s biggest stadium, as fans long for a glimpse of the superstar that pulled Barca out of one of their darkest moments in club history during the early 2000s and returned them to La Liga and Champions League glory.
