How ‘Museum of War’ NFT collection would help Ukraine?

Ukrainian Government recently launched an NFT collection titled ‘Meta History: Museum of War’

On 25th March, vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine and digital transformation minister of the country, Myykhailo Fedorov, announced on Twitter about launching an NFT collection. His tweet stated that where Russia is using tanks to destroy the country, they are relying on blockchain technology. ‘Meta history: Museum of War’, an NFT museum, has launched. It’s the place to keep the memories of this war and celebrate the freedom and identity of Ukraine. 

The nonfungible token (NFT) collection titled ‘Meta history: Museum of War’ has been launched by the Government of Ukraine to raise funds for the ongoing war with Russia. 

As per the website of Meta history, NFT collections stated that the mission of the NFT project is preserving the actual events memories of that time along with spreading truthful information across the world digital community and collecting donations for supporting Ukraine.  

Further website details about the collection that present a timeline series of events of the country’s history in modern time that are set in stone. Those NFTs are facts that are accompanied by personal reflections. 

NFT collection and sale organizing firm, Fair.XYZ has built the website of the NFT collection for the Ukrainian Government and organized the first sale for the same that would go live from next Wednesday. The expected sale raise from the NFT collection is between $2 million and $3 million that would feature 5000 to 7000 digital art pieces, each priced at around $450. Additionally, they will be selling over the Ethereum blockchain as per the Forbes reports. 

On its official Twitter account, the NFT collection stated that the warline included every event of war, all the nonfungible tokens will be sold in exact chronological order. Until all the NFTs are sold, their content will be hidden. Further, it stated that the purchase from the NFT collection Meta History: Museum of War is 100% good and secure because they have used a smart contract agreement that allows sending money directly to the wallets of the ministry of digital transformation to support Ukraine.  

Earlier, there was a planned airdrop which the Ukrainian Government later canceled. On 14th March, the Government launched an official website for collecting crypto donations. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law that would regulate crypto assets in the country.
