Here’s Everything Coming To Netflix In September 2022 And What To Stream

Netflix is getting a bunch of new content this coming month, and losing some pretty good shows and movies, too.

Among these is a Netflix Original documentary called Eat The Rich: The GameStop Saga which is about the heady days of the reddit-fueled race to prop up GameStop stock and get rich in the process. Or, well, maybe lose everything. Hedge funds were the target of these reddit investors, but the system is hard to beat and the house always wins. That drops on September 28th and should be illuminating.

On the 1st we get a bunch of third party films, including A Clockwork Orange, three Austin Powers films, Despicable Me, If Beale Street Could Talk, Scarface and The Bridges of Madison County, just to name a few.

There are also a few big Netflix Original movies and shows to keep an eye on:

Bee and Puppycat (September 6th)

This might not normally make it on one of my lists but this looks really damn good, actually. It’s about a young woman who has trouble keeping a job and her magical, er, puppy-cat? There’s some evil force at work also. I’m not really sure. This was originally an indie Kickstarter project that has since been picked up by Netflix. The originally released episodes will also be getting remakes.

Cobra Kai Season 5 (September 9th)

The Munsters (September 27th)

This is decidedly not one of the movies I’m looking forward to in September, but I felt it incumbent upon me to include in this list nonetheless. It really does look like Rob Zombie decided to make a direct-to-TV budget movie from 1992 with this one. I mean, it looks really bad. Really, really bad.

Blonde (September 28th)

Blonde is the over-the-top, NC-17 rated Madilyn Monroe biopic starring Ana de Armas (Knives Out) and directed by Andrew Dominik (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford) based on the 1999 novel by Joyce Carol Oates. It looks terrific and fascinating, a glossy, trippy exploration of Monroe’s fame and misfortune.

Okay, on to the Big List.
