Helium Network Got Healed In 4 Hours
Helium network is a blockchain-powered network associated with the Internet of Things or IoT. It has a network of nodes called hotspots. Operators of nodes can mine and earn HNT, native token of Helium. Network’s objective is centered towards the future of IoT, and aims to make the concept better than ever.
Recently, the Helium network outage disrupted production of blocks. No one was able to conduct any transaction. The event went on for 4 hours at block number 1435693. Consensus Group operating on the same network on which the cloud service Amazon Web Service operates, which suffered some technical issues too. The local network outage is also believed to be a reason behind this.
The core team is investigating an issue causing the Consensus Group to stop producing blocks. At this time, submitting transactions to the blockchain will remain pending and will not clear. Device data transfer is not affected. More updates to come.
