Ford Motor reported a nearly 32% increase in U.S. sales in June, beating out much of the industry as it improved truck and SUV deliveries and benefited from the rollout of a new all-electric pickup.
Overall, U.S. auto-industry sales in June were down 11%, according to Ford, reflecting continuing difficulties replenishing dealership lots and sky-high prices that are pushing some buyers out of the car market.
