Dr. Disrespect “Disallowed” By Twitch, Releases Gaming NFTs On Polygon Network

  • Youtuber and rival of iFerg, Dr. Disrespect is launching 10,000 NFTs titled “Founders Access” for early community members.
  • This declaration comes just after Dr. Disrespect made tweet regarding his ban on Twitch, stating that he moved on from platform indefinitely.
  • Recently, D. Disrespect challenged top call of duty mobile streamer, iFerg, in a kill race, stating that winner gets $100,000. iFerg won that race.

Founders Access

Call of Duty Warzone streamer and Youtuber Dr. Disrespect released Midnight Society, his game development studios during December 2021, and brand is all set to release a collection of 10,000 NFTs from Founders Access NFT channel for early community members.

This announcement was made shortly after Dr. Disrespect tweeted that all legitimate disputes associated with Twitch are now cleared, and he is now finally moving on from streaming platform back in summer of 2020.

Dr. Disrespect’s NFTs, which will persist on blockchain of Polygon will be valued at $50 per piece. According to Midnight Society official website, there will not be any pay-to-win perks for gamers through Founders Passes, but holder will have early access towards game builds, a DP usable inside Midnight society games, accessibility to studio events, and voting power on gaming functions.

Robert Bowling, co-founder of Midnight Society, have a background with call of duty maker Infinity Ward and thinks on NFTs highly, and as vital for Midnight’s gaming environment.

Bowling stated to a news website that, organization is using blockchain for Access Passes, particularly because this initiative being a cross-platform membership, will not only give hands to their initial game (Project Moon) but rest of games to be rolled out in future.

No Commercialization

While Midnight Society’s Founders Passes might offer distinct avatars to holders, collectors will not be able to commercialize their non-fungible tokens similar to collections like CryptoPunks and BAYC.

After primary sales or first minting, Founder Pass holders will only be able to sell and acquire NFTs via Secondary markets such as Rarible and OpenSea.

Dr. Disrespect have already received backfire regarding his NFTs from Twitter users, even after project’s marketing avoids Founders Passes NFTs, though its official website states that, Access Passes indeed utilize eco-friendly NFT technology.

It’s hardly the initial gaming brand getting sniped from gamers amid NFT announcements. Same responses were witnessed by Worms, Ubisoft, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 when they declared news regarding launching NFTs.

Dr. Disrespect vs iFerg

Dr. Disrespect is a streamer of Call of Duty Warzone, but during May, he called on greatest Call of Duty Mobile player iFerg, stating that mobile gaming is nothing, and can destroy iFerg in a battle royale kill race.

Well, if you know iFerg, you already know what’s gonna come next. iFerg screwed Dr. Disrespect like he is playing against a kid.

This event was important because $100,000 was at stake, as it was a winner gets all scenario. Well, after getting “disrespected,” Dr. Disrespect did not appear to challenge someone who can “disrespect” him, you know why.
