BTS’s Jin Joins Aespa, Dimash Kudaibergen, NCT 127 And Blackpink’s Lisa With His Latest Top 10 Hit

On the current edition of the Hot Trending Songs chart, two tracks by Jin find space within the top 10. One has appeared inside the tier before, while another is new to the area, and with his latest placement between Nos. 1 and 10, the singer ties with several other stars from all around the world for one of the largest accumulations of wins ever.

BTS’s own Jin has now broken into the top 10 on the Hot Trending Songs chart, Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most-talked-about tracks on Twitter, twice. That might not sound like much, but the list is still very new, so anyone who has collected more than a single placement in the competitive area ranks among the biggest to appear on the tally.

Jin first reached the top 10 on the Hot Trending Songs chart with his solo smash “Yours,” which became a social and sales hit in America. The tune climbed all the way to No. 5 on the list, and it has been going strong for a long period of time. Now, “Super Tuna,” another standalone cut credited to Jin (and not BTS, the band that made him a star) bolts from No. 14 to No. 9, reaching a new peak and entering the highest tier for the first time.

With his second top 10 hit on the Hot Trending Songs chart, Jin is now on the same level as Blackpink member Lisa, NCT 127, Aespa and Dimash Kudaibergen, all of whom have scored a pair of smashes on the Twitter-focused roster.

BTS runs the show among all acts, as the South Korean band has now sent a quartet of tracks into the region. Their tunes “Butter,” “Permission to Dance,” “My Universe” with Coldplay and “Dynamite” have all spent time somewhere between Nos. 1 and 10.

Fellow South Korean boy band Stray Kids is comfortable in second place with three top 10 singles on the Hot Trending Songs chart. The group has thus far pushed their tracks “Christmas EveL,” “Thunderous” and “Winter Falls” into the area, hitting the mark with their only three tunes to find their way to the tally.
