The largest exchange of Europe, Bitstamp, has announced listing a popular meme-inspired currency, Shiba-Inu. The listing will allow users to trade the meme coin against the Euro and U.S dollar.

What’s better is that the trading platform would enable transfers as early as this Monday.

Starting from Tuesday, Order books will be accessible, however in limit-only mode. The limit order of the users will then be tallied on the same day.

Bitstamp, which was launched all the way back in 2011, has acknowledged Shiba Inu as one of the biggest success stories.

Launched 11 years ago in 2011, Bitstamp acknowledges the graph Shiba Inu has covered and considers it as one of the biggest success stories.

In December, the Luxembourg-headquartered crypto exchange initially made the announcement of SHIB listing in December. But, due to some technical issues, it got delayed indefinitely.

In December, the crypto exchange gave SHIB Army assurance that it still plans to list the meme-inspired currency.

Six months later, the leading crypto trading platform in Europe has fulfilled its promise. Bitstamp is known for its strict regulatory compliance and the conservative listing policy.

Meanwhile, Julian Sawyer, CEO of Bitstamp, rejected the idea of listing Dogecoin, the popular meme cryptocurrency last August. However, Sawyer resigned last month, and JB Graftieaux was appointed the exchange’s new global CEO. Graftieaux has earlier head edits European operations.

Even after the continued token burning and adoption, SHIB had made its seventh consecutive weekly red candles as the price continued to drop. However, the popularity of meme-token surged by 5%. But, at the time of writing, it was trading at $0.000011, down 4.85% in the last 24 hours.
