Andy Cohen Took Action During ‘Aggressive’ Season 10 ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Reunion

Vanderpump Rules fans already know the second half of Season 10 promises to be a wild ride in the wake of the buzzed-about “Scandoval” drama that saw cast members Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix part ways following his affair with co-star Raquel Leviss.

But according to Andy Cohen, that’s nothing compared to the reunion ruckus on the way after those final episodes air.

The talk show host and producer served as moderator for recently filmed event, and due to the cast he calls “hotheads,” it required him take a far more active role than he normally does for Bravo reunions.

“Let me tell you something — I didn’t leave with any bruises, but I was called into action,” the show’s former producer told Page Six.

That comment comes just days after the 54-year-old opened up about the reunion on his SiriusXM show Radio Andy and promised an “aggressive” confrontation was on the way.

“It was a real reckoning,” Cohen explained during his April 3 show. “If you are looking to hear their story — you will. If you are looking for them to be confronted to their face about what they’ve done, in what I would say is an aggressive manner, you will get it.”

Cohen also spoke about the remaining seven episodes of Season 10, which he watched before sitting down with the cast, and characterized them as “jaw-dropping.”

“I got a lot of people saying, ‘You always say that. You always over-hype things,’” he noted. “I’m not over-hyping this. I’m not. It’s… I truly can’t believe it.”

And the trailer for the rest of the season seems to back him up.

The brief clip, released March 20, highlights the fallout from the cheating scandal and features Scheana Shay calling Leviss a “home-wrecking whore,” as well as Sandoval and Madix attempting to talk through their troubles.

“You want anything?” Sandoval asks his ex in the teaser.

Madix bluntly replies, “For you to die.”

It’s because of moments like those that Cohen cautions fans not to focus too much on the reunion to come. First they should savor what leads up to it.

“It’s about to take some turns that are so surprising that you’re going to want to sit in what’s happening now,” he said during a chat with E! News Tuesday. “Don’t rush to the reunion.”

Not that viewers have a choice to rush things. The air date for the reunion has yet to be announced. As for the second half of Season 10, new episodes return to Bravo Wednesday, April 5 at 9 p.m. ET.
