‘Americans Are Seeing What Communism Looks Like’

U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) says the third indictment of former President Donald Trump has convinced Americans that “the Biden Administration is a communist regime.” Speaking on Fox News Channel Sunday, Greene said “for the first time, Americans are actually seeing what communism really looks like.”

Greene, a defender of the former president, told Fox’s Maria Bartiromo that the Democrats “have nothing to run on. The only thing they can run on is to continue smearing President Trump’s name…and we have to stand up to this.”

Trump’s legal team, meanwhile, anticipates even more legal trouble. Alina Habba, an attorney for the former president, said on FNC’s Sunday Morning Futures that she expects Trump to be indicted in Georgia in the next few weeks. Habba said that Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis “wants her moment, and she will get on board with the rest of the corrupt DAs and AGs that we’ve seen.”

Trump, meanwhile, attacked the special counsel, Jack Smith, who accused Trump of conspiring to overturn the will of American voters in the 2020 election. “He’s a deranged human being,” Trump said Saturday in Columbia, S.C. “You look at that face, you think that’s a sick man, there’s something wrong with him.”
