The team acknowledged the incident and assured its users through a post on X (formerly Twitter). It jocularly commented on users’ energy that Aptos couldn’t handle. At the same time, the statement assured users about the network’s commitment to security. It affirmed that the team is working to resolve the issue and the network will resume very soon.
Thankfully, the impact of Aptos remained within the ecosystem. The exchanges trading with the said coin also had to take some measures. Upbit and OKX announced a temporary suspension of the deposits and withdrawals of APT. According to them, these actions were necessary to mitigate fear and avoid any further complications.
