Brave gives away Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT worth 80 ETH

Brave Wallet, a crypto wallet built into the Brave web browser, has gone live on desktop and mobile. They are giving away almost half a million dollars in crypto prizes to celebrate, including a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT worth 80 ETH, Invezz learned from a press release first published on Cryptoslate.

If you use Brave Browser, you won’t need to download and install Brave Wallet as it is built into the browser itself, unlike Metamask, Coinbase, and other wallets.

Giveaways will continue until March 14

The Brave Swap-stakes crypto sweepstakes is a series of giveaways that will last for six days starting March 8. Brave is also giving away NFTs, culminating in the giveaway of a Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT worth around 80 ether (ETH/USD).

The contest will runs until 11:59 pm PST on Monday, March 14. There will be new prizes every day. You must have an active Brave Wallet address and use the wallet’s Brave Swap function to make a minimum of one crypto swap on a given day to be eligible for the prizes handed out that day.

Brave gives away highly coveted cryptos and NFTs

As part of the campaign, Brave Wallet will be giving out assets like ether, Solana (SOL/USD), and Basic Attention Token (BAT/USD). They will also be handing out highly coveted NFTs like Lazy Lions and World of Women.

Brave Wallet is free on desktop and mobile

To use Brave Wallet, you need to download the Brave browser on mobile or desktop. To access the Wallet on mobile, open the browser menu and then tap the Wallet icon. To access it on desktop, open the Brave browser and click the Wallet icon in the toolbar.

Look for the golden ticket

Random wallet address will be selected. You’ll know you won if you find a freshly minted “golden ticket” NFT dropped into your wallet. This is proof of winning. The golden ticket can be redeemed for the actual prize.
