All about Formula One Miami Grand Prix: featuring F1 Ethereum NFTs

Next weekend is the Formula One Miami Grand Prix, which will feature F1 Ethereum NFTs. FTX is set to release a host of new NFTs in both premium and free-to-claim formats in conjunction with F1 Team Mercedes.

Featuring unique and selected NFT collectibles

The FTX crypto platform and F1 Team Mercedes-AMG Petronas announced their partnership today, as well as the availability of their unique and selected NFT collectibles at the Miami Grand Prix and other scheduled racing events this season.

The big launch of 1,000 limited editions free-to-claim NFT ticket stubs for people who want to see the NFT launch happening at the Miami Grand Prix and other races Fans of FTX and F1 may look forward to this year.

Up to 2,500 free NFT ticket stubs will be distributed to other high-octane events.

The complementary stub collectibles will each feature a distinct and uncommon design to please fans. 

FTX and the F1 team have teamed up with Mad Dog Jones

For these races, FTX and the F1 team have teamed up with Mad Dog Jones, a well-known artist who will be selling off over ten exclusive limited editions of Ethereum NFT artworks.

Two of the Mad Dog Jones NFT artworks include an actual rear wing endplate from the Mercedes cars used by daredevils George Russel and Lewis Hamilton.

According to Lou Frangella, FTX VP of Partnerships, the purpose of the F1 Ethereum NFT launch in Miami is to mix culture, art, and Formula One into one amazing event.

They’re desperate to make it big in Miami, and that’ll almost certainly happen, especially for an event with such a unique lineup.

The official date of opening

On May 6, bidding for the F1 NFT event will open, along with the start of practice for the Miami Grand Prix. The auctions will run through the 13th of May. 

Meanwhile, after viewing the fast-and-furious version on the racetrack, FTX and F1 will host an actual NFT gallery where spectators will be able to see and feel the artworks in person.

Aside from the glitz and glam of this NFT event, proceeds from the sale of F1 NFTs will go to Ignite, a motorsport inclusion and diversity program co-founded with F1 Hamilton’s Mission44 Foundation.
