Binance U.S. Arm to Bid for Bankrupt Voyager Digital’s Assets After FTX Collapse

The U.S. arm of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, will make a bid for bankrupt lender

 following the collapse of FTX, which in September won an auction for the company’s assets.

Binance.US plans to revive its bid for Voyager, Changpeng Zhao, the group’s CEO, told Bloomberg in an interview published Thursday. It likely puts Binance in contention with CrossTower, another crypto exchange, as well as digital asset manager Wave Financial, both of which also took part in the initial bidding for Voyager’s assets—and potentially other firms as well.
