The Latin American multi-gaming organization, INFINITY, has gone into a new partnership. The sports organization’s partnership with Yesport is to launch an NFT-based fans’ engagement program. Yesport is a blockchain company.
A First Among Equals Leads the Way
INFINITY now holds the record of the seventh esports body to have a partnership with Yesport. It is the first and only Latin American organization thus far. Other organizations already in partnership with Yesport include BOOM Esports, Renegades, and Talon Esports.
Yesports, being a metaverse engagement platform will is going to launch INFINITY-themed NFTs. The coming tokens will give access to experiences such as VIP permits to events. It will also grant things like personalized Discord servers, video content, and more.
Further offerings include play-along chances with the team as well as training live streams. The partnership also includes perks for the Yesports founder, Sebastian Quinn. He will become part of INFINITY as its Web3 advisor.
Quinn said in a publication that INFINITY is part of many leading teams Yesports is onboarding. He said Yesports is bringing the organization to its world-class NFT marketplace and the Web3 world.
Part of the partnership plan is to launch a project with the name “Infinity Island.” It is defined as a place of interaction within Yesports metaverse. The project will also have a complementary NFT collection.
INFINITY’s Commercial Director, Damian Szarfirsztein, gave more clarity on the project and what to expect. He said it is all part of the organization’s philosophy of going after innovations. He said further that the organization will promote via integration of Web3 technologies.
Szarfirsztein also said the organization is going to equally leverage the fan engagement Yesports will build.
Mass Movement into Web3 Underway
The partnership agreement emphasized the growing number of esports bodies planning to leverage new technologies. They are increasingly looking to Web 3 and blockchain to promote fan engagement plans.
As one of the main organizations in Latin America, INFINITY has taken the lead. It is the main protagonist for expanding fan engagement based on blockchain solutions.
Brazil is equally beginning to get the effect of that kind of expansion. Socios.com recently expanded its operation into the Brazilian esports space. It entered a partnership with MIBR to have a fan token project.
Whereas, Liqi entered a partnership with Team oNe and Vivo Keyd.
Yesports raised $2.25 million in January this year in a seed fundraising round. The funding helped it boost its global expansion.
The investors at that fundraiser include Alphabit, Kernel Ventures, NGC Ventures, Polygon Studio, Cosmos, and Mozaik Capital.
Much of the tech world is steadily moving into the web3 space which seems to hold a promise of interactivity. Designers and developers and rapidly aligning their skills to the demands of the new wave. Yet, a lot of other businesses are still yet to find a proper definition for their role in what the future holds.
