Slovenia has been crowned as the most “crypto-friendly” country-know why?

According to a study undertaken by the aviation business Fast Private Jet, the central European country of Slovenia is the most crypto-friendly in the world. Furthermore, its capital, Ljubljana, is Europe’s most hospitable destination for digital asset companies.

Fast Private Jet, an aviation company based in Italy, conducted a global investigation to identify which nations have the most venues accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method.

Slovenia came in first, while the Czech Republic, another Central European country, came in second. The top six were Argentina, Japan, Spain, and Colombia.

Why exactly?

Slovenia is crowned the most “crypto-friendly” country because it has 72 establishments and 33 sports venues that accept digital assets as a payment method.

Slovenia has 72 stores and 33 sports venues that accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as payment. Its capital, Ljubljana, is also Europe’s most crypto-friendly destination.

It now has over 137 shops and 584 different locations that accept digital asset payments, with “BTC City” as its largest retail mall.

Prague, the Czech Republic’s capital, is Europe’s second most crypto-friendly city. The coffee shop Paralelni Polis, which accepts only bitcoin as payment, is one of the city’s crypto attractions.

Madrid, Spain’s capital, is Europe’s third most crypto-friendly city, while Malta is at the bottom of the list.

About other countries- where do they stand?

The investigation by Fast Private Jet included the United States as well. It was discovered that the cities with the most restaurants, cafeterias and companies that accept cryptocurrency as a payment method are New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

China is, unsurprisingly, one of the least crypto-friendly countries on the planet. On Chinese land, local authorities enforced a total ban on all digital asset ventures last year.

Oman, Egypt, Algeria, Qatar, Iraq, Tunisia, Morocco, and Bangladesh all have anti-industry policies and are grouped with China.

According to a report, released earlier this month, Germany is the most crypto-friendly country in Q1 2022, with Singapore and the United States coming in second and third, respectively.

However, unlike Fast Private Jet, the company’s study took into account aspects such as cryptocurrency regulations in various nations, the number of fraud instances, and the availability of digital asset courses.

World’s most “crypto-ready” nations

This isn’t the first time the Central European country has appeared in similar research. Last year, the digital asset platform Crypto Head concluded that Slovenia is the 7th most “crypto-ready” country, with an index of 5.96.

The organization used a number of parameters to conduct the study, including the number of ATMs and the number of annual crypto Google searches per 100,000 persons.

It’s no surprise that the United States ranked highest, with over 30,000 crypto Automated Teller Machines.
